Art Shaw - Managing Partner
Art spent most of the 1990s at Charles Schwab, first running Strategic Planning and after helping launch www.schwab.com, which defined financial services online and grew to over a $1 billion business.
He then ran the preeminent Ultra High Net Worth firm myCFO, which served clients averaging over $100 million in wealth with a full family office approach, and received the #1 rating from Bloomberg Wealth Manager.
In addition to being a Managing Partner at 3 Factor, today Art runs RepairPal after selling it to Yelp, bringing trust and transparency to auto repair.
Art holds a BA, magna cum laude, in Mathematical Economics from Brown University, where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa. He was also selected as a Henry R. Luce Scholar and spent a year in Thailand working on Public Policy. Art attended Stanford Business School and worked at McKinsey, serving Financial Services and Health Care companies.
Bob Sawyer - Chief Compliance Officer
Bob leads Operations and Compliance at 3 Factor.
Bob began working at 3 Factor in 2012 and played a key role in developing the 3 Factor Engine.
Prior to becoming an Investment Advisor, Bob held product management and marketing positions at Silicon Valley technology firms, both large and small. Bob had key operational roles at Tandem and HP where his customers included stock exchanges, banks and brokerage firms.
Bob has a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and an MBA, with an emphasis on finance, from the Kellogg School of Management.
Bob resides in Woodside, California with his wife and children.
